The i- Ceat (Clinical and Embryology Academy of ART) a subsidiary of ARTech group is launching its Assisted Reproductive Technology Training Course for Clinicians and Embryologists from January 2020.

Dr. Prof (Col) Pankaj Talwar, VSM

The academically robust group is led by Prof (Col) Pankaj Talwar VSM , who would be personally supervising this unique teaching course.

Dr Pankaj Talwar has 29 yrs of experience working in Armed forces, India.
He is a gynaecologist by profession and is trained in ART and clinical embryology.
He has 15 yrs experience of working in field of ART and has headed the ART center of excellences in Indian Army and Navy.
Dr Pankaj Talwar is Ex HOD, IVF, Obstetrics and Gynecology at Army Hospital (Research and Referral), New Delhi and INHS Asvini, Mumbai.
He has experience of Raising seven ART centres in India and abroad and has carried out nearly 14000 ART cycles from ovulation induction to embryology.
He is also the director of ARTech group which has three subsidiaries -

Cryobiology

Course Plan

Each course would have three modules.
Each of three Course modules would be Sent to you online for home-based Self-study Over one week.
For each module, there would be a 1.5 hr online lecture by the training team and live or video demonstration.
An online formative assessment Exam would follow each modules self-study completion.
After three modules are completed with individual formative assessment, there would be an online summative exam at the end.
Each course with three respective modules would be over in 30 days.
Candidate has to secure minimal pass percentage marks in the summative exam.
After the candidate clears the formative and summative exam, she/he would be given dates for two days extensive hands-on trg session in Delhi on simulators at an advanced training laboratory.
The candidate would be awarded a course completion certificate at the end of the hands-on trg session.

Aim of the Course

To impart the latest relevant knowledge and offer the opportunity to have a complete learning experience with the expert clinicians and embryologists.
The main focus of these two days intensive course would be imparting master training in Ovarian Stimulation Protocols for IUI / IVF for the practising ART specialist, Embryo Transfer Techniques, andrology, IUI and basic to advanced embryology and cryobiology.

Extensive course material would be shared with the candidates at the end of the training session in a pen drive

The training would be supplemented with teaching videos of Oocyte Retrievals & Embryo Transfers and all essential procedures.
The course will offer practical training with discussion on day-to-day clinical cases , embryology , basic science and physiology.
As a part of this course curriculum the delegates will have the opportunity to observe various treatment procedures through pre-recorded videos and extensive practical hands on experience in embryology techniques.

Eligibility Criterion for Candidates

B.Sc, M.Sc or any other life science background, BVSc, MVSc, MBBS, MD.

A Minimum requirement of basic working Hindi and English is required.
Candidates would be selected after the telephonic counselling only.

This module is meant for those with an experience and interest in infertility management who wish to improve their understanding of the principles and practices of assisted reproduction technology.
The course is also recommended for working IVF Clinicians and embryologist who are looking to update their existing knowledge.
The candidates would enhance there understanding of the issues associated with present day infertility treatments and management strategies for our patients.
The course is targeted for the Andrologist , embryologist and IVF clinicians who have been already exposed to the ART and are looking to develop and polish their skills further.

Knowledge and Skill Enhancement

Knowledge enhancement : Multiple choice questions exam at entry and exit levels in all the modules.
Practical skills enhancement : would be Assessed on relevant laboratory techniques taught during the training module.
